Here are some rules that we oblige you to follow:
No God-Moding - god-moding is the taking control of another person's character without their permission. Everyone controls their own characters (including their character's pets/family/what have you) and strictly that. However, if you were to have the other writer's permission you may, permission can be asked via OOC (out of character) thread or PM (private messaging).
Be As Grammatically Correct As You Can - This can be hard, I realize, please try anyway though, out of respect for the other writers. We (any other member) will point out (via OOC thread) if you have made a serious error and will answer any grammar questions you have. This includes the admin. Also, try to be polite while doing so.
Be Polite - we are all here to have fun, name calling/insulting is uncalled for and will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with another person take it up with the admin. Also, being polite also entails acceptance/tolerance of whomever chooses to use this site. People will be going through a process just to register so there shouldn't be too much of a problem but if any racist, sexist, homophobic, pedophilic, necrophilic, etc, etc people get through report them to admin with proof of course. Characters can be racist, sexist, homophobic, etc, etc because they are characters and therefore not real (no matter how nasty they are being). But those kinds of comments from non-characters (IE the writers) will not be tolerated here.
No Being the Ultimate Whatever - sometimes being the ultimate whatever can be fun or well explained or even necessary to a story but consistently being one for no reason is boring and annoying (only sometimes amusing). Ultimate whatevers include the all powerfuls, the forever tragic, the high school dramatic (not limited to high school), the mysterious relation of everyone/the most important person, etc, etc. I assume you know the drill.
No Spamming, Harassing, Attacking, Promoting, Illegal Activities, Dangerous Materials (viruses and whatnot), Plagiarism, etc - this really should go without saying.
Have Fun! - this is an obligatory rule! You must have fun! Or else!!!!
More rules will be added later, I must think of them before they can be.
